SINGAPOREAN Silk air will take over flights to Yangon as Singa-pore Airline Group (SIA) budget airline Scoot will no longer fly to Yangon starting from 29 October, according to a report of Myawady Daily, yesterday.
At present, Scoot flies to Yangon five times a week. Silk Air under SIA group is current-ly operating 10 flights a week to Yangon and 3 flights a week to Mandalay. Silk air will increase its Yangon’s flight times to 15 a week.
Silk Air will control over Scoot’s Yangon flights which have already been booked. Details of new booking will be emailed to those who have already booked at Scoot. They will also refund mon-ey for those who want to cancel their booking.
