The Ministry of Finance and Revenue(Currently known as Ministry of Planning and Finance) announced in 2012 the start of the liberalization of the insurance industry in Myanmar. Being one of the largest conglomerates n Myanmar, Capital Diamond Star Group (CDSG) see an excellent opportunity to become one of the first insurance companies in the Country, protecting financial risk and providing well-being of the people of Myanmar. After reviewing the opportunity, CDSGalong with its partners filed and was granted one of the first life insurance licenses, the birth of Capital Life.
