Argo Bio Product Co., Ltd is 100% local owned company in Myanmar. Under the leadership and management of Managing Director, Ma Khin Myo Khaing. Argo Bio was established in 1999 with the aim to play the important role in Myanmar’s Agricultural Sector by offering qualified and high productivity hybrid seeds, insecticides, fungicides, bactericides, herbicides and foliar fertilizer products to improve the value of agriculture sectors all over the country, and promote the lives of farmers and production of agricultural products through market promoters, agent and dealer.
Argo Bio is operating its tasks and production from Yangon (Myanmar), Singapore and Bangkok. Our main customers come from agriculture sector to play an important role in Myanmar’s economy of agriculture, since Myanmar is agriculture-based country and the agriculture sector is the backbone of its economy:
the sector accounts for about 30% of GD, over 50% of total employment and approximately 20% of exports. Cultivated land, covering 12.8 million hectares, has the potential to be increased by nearly 50% for decades.
And also, agriculture and the processing of agricultural products provides a majority of the employment and income in Myanmar.
